Hi, I'm Holly

I am a sculptor and Royal College of Art graduate. Since relocating from London to Medway in late 2017 I have been able to restart my practice following a break. I have enjoyed finding my creative voice again and learning ceramics processes.
My work is about about consumerism and death and the emotional value we place upon objects. 
I am particularly interested in devotional objects and how the act of making might be considered as an act of faith.
I’m fascinated by the presence of the maker in the work, and the deliberate absence (most often) of such marks on mass produced items.
Despite the weighty subject matter I try to make work that is playful and accessible!
